About
Adopt America Network is a national adoption organization committed to finding families for the 100,000 children in foster care, waiting and hoping to be chosen for adoption. We partner with states and counties across the nation, helping them find the right families for the children in their care. These children are considered to have special needs due to the challenges they face in being placed for adoption, including: a history of abuse or severe neglect; medical or mental health challenges from minor issues to total care; siblings groups of two or more who want to grow up together; and those who are teens or pre-teens.
We accomplish our work with a small hardworking staff, dedicated volunteers, and a lot of tenacity. Over 85% of our budget is spent on direct program costs. At AAN, a challenge is a reason to work harder and smarter. We know that thousands of children need our help and we intend to keep working for as long as it takes to help each child realize their dream of finding a family.
