About
Coalition for Clean Air has a bold vision of healthy air for all Californians. Since 1970, we’ve taken on the toughest air pollution problems and won – even when others said it was impossible.
As the only statewide advocacy organization focused exclusively on air quality, we restore California’s air through advocacy, outreach and education. Our statewide initiatives focus on combating California’s climate crisis, reducing pollution from cars, ships, trains and trucks, and promoting efficient and renewable sources of energy.
With offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Fresno, our staff members have mastered the complex policy, technology, legal and scientific issues involved in air quality reform. We have creditability and strong relationships with policymakers – from local agencies to the White House – and industry leaders, community groups, environmental advocates, journalists and concerned residents. We bring all relevant parties to the table, and together, we produce effective, innovative solutions to tackle California’s air pollution.
