About
NRC's mission: To help Native American people improve the quality of their lives by providing opportunities for them to bring about positive changes in their communities. Over half a million Americans, foundations, and GIK donors support NRC because they care about people living on reservations where the need is unimaginable to most Americans.
National Relief Charities enhances:
• Access to healthy nutrition, healthcare, and housing
• Education through scholarships, school supplies, and training
• Collaboration on sustainable solutions
What sets NRC apart is cultural competency, long-term relationships with over 1,000 tribal programs, and supporting local determination. This ensures providing the right services at the right time. We also voluntarily adhere to the Red Cross' Code of Conduct for Humanitarian Organizations, which mirrors "the NRC Way" in stewardship, respect, and volunteerism. Over 70% of donations go toward programs.
Native Americans are the most underserved minority in the U.S. Please help NRC bring hope to the reservations.
