About
Helping both the people and the environment on islands across the world, Seacology works directly with indigenous island communities to create marine and land reserves that protect endangered species and ecosystems, uplift island communities, and promote long-term environmental stewardship.
Seacology’s unique win-win model protects coral reefs, rainforests, mangroves, and other vital island habitats and supports the basic needs of local island communities, such as water, education, and healthcare. To date, we have launched over 200 community-based projects in 48 countries around the world, protecting nearly two million acres of island ecosystems.
