About

Shared Hope International is a recognized leader in the worldwide effort to prevent and eradicate sex trafficking through justice initiatives and public awareness. As a 12-year-old 501(c)(3) nonprofit with offices in Arlington, VA and Vancouver, WA, we work to prevent, rescue, restore and bring justice to victims of sex trafficking. Funded international and domestic partners provide shelter and critical services to victims and survivors.

Current emphasis is on ending child sex trafficking in the U.S through these strategies:
1. Affect policy change at the state and federal level eliminating conflicting laws that punish the victim but give leniency to the buyer.
2. Train first responders to correctly identify and appropriately respond to minors used in commercial sex.
3. Generate public outrage that children are used in commercial sex in our country.
4. Provide assistance in creating safe shelter and specialized services for victims of this unique form of trauma.
