About
The Texas Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) corporation that seeks to build regional projects across Texas which will provide free access ramps to disabled and elderly residents unable to afford the cost of construction. We do not charge our clients for their ramps and all referrals come to us from health care providers. We do not accept direct referrals from our clients or their families. Complete historic data is available at our website. All ramps are built by volunteers.
Our vision statement is that no resident of Texas should lack safe access for financial reasons. We train and equip our volunteers so that each ramp constructed has a skilled team leader to guide the construction of a safely designed ramp.
We have received about 6000 referrals and have constructed about 2500 ramps to date with a steady growth pattern from year to year. A video of our work is available on our website.
